A LITTLE ABOUT ALBERTA at the rescue:
Alberta and her siblings were rescued from a property in Todos Santos. Alberta is one of the more timid ones of her litter which has resulted in her being the last one remaining at the rescue.
Over time, Alberta has began to really struggle with new people. With people she knows, she is incredibly sweet and affectionate. Unfortunately the rescue environment has been very overwhelming for her and she has picked up behaviors that aren’t the best for creating space when she wants it, but we are confident that training will help to undo some of these behaviors.
Alberta tolerates most dogs, but she really thrives with very chill dogs. She is playful and would do well with another dog in the home, but doesn’t love high energy dogs/puppies (can’t say we blame her).
She is amazing on leash and absolutely loves walks. Walks are truly the key to her heart. Her temperament overall is extremely chill and we imagine she would also be fine with cats. We know she will make such an amazing companion for someone out there and hope that someone gives her the chance she deserves after waiting for so long.
Alberta is available for local adoption or can be transported to the U.S. or Canada.
