A LITTLE (OR A LOT) ABOUT BEANS FROM HIS FOSTER:

Beans is the ultimate story of survival.

If you have been following Beans’ journey you know that this boy has been through A LOT. He was found curled up on the side of the road here in Pescadero pretty much completely immobilized, malnourished, and in pain. We believe he was hit by a car at some point which caused neurological issues. He needed two rounds of erlichea treatment and we also found out he had TVT (a sexually transmitted form of cancer), which he just finished treatment for. Those are just the things he has been through since we’ve known him, who knows all that he had experienced that led him to the state in which he was found💔

Thankfully Beans has spent the last few months with the most amazing fosters who have helped bring him back to life. His recovery and transformation have been so incredible to watch and are such a testament to his strength and resilience. And now- it’s time to find him a forever home!

Beans’ fosters just left Baja to head back home to Washington and though they can’t keep him during the summer, they are bringing him with them and we are looking to find either a foster or adopter somewhere in California, Oregon, Washington (or surrounding states), or even B.C. Canada as soon as possible.

Beans absolutely loves his humans and wants to be by your side at all times. He is very playful and absolutely loves his toys, walks, and running on the beach. He is quite silly and goofy and definitely keeps you entertained. Because of Beans’ past, there are a few things he could use some work on in the socialization and training departments. He can be a bit wary of strangers and new dogs and barkey at first, though once he knows the dog he is very playful and we believe he would benefit greatly in a home with another dog where he could observe and learn from them :) He just recently started working on obedience training and is making progress. He also experiences separation anxiety, but we believe that with time and training this will improve.

Please consider giving Beans a chance! The fosters are willing to do a meet and greet with you if you are on their route up north or anywhere in Washington.
